The Global Startup Ecosystem Report (GSER) recognised Ho Chi Minh City as one of the top 100 emerging startup ecosystems in 2023. The city aims to support nearly 2,000 startup projects in the next five years.

The Vietnamese government also supports the setup of new entities in Vietnam with 100% foreign ownership and access to corporate tax incentives for tech companies.

The People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City has issued a plan to implement policies supporting innovative startup projects in the city in the 2024-2028 period (Source: Vietnamese Plus) is an excellent example of why this emerging economy city is the perfect landing pad for any founders around the world.
